Effective immediately, the Burrell’s Woods Campground is closed to recreational camping due to COVID-19 concerns. In addition, the City of Carmi would like to remind the public the playgrounds are closed as well.
The park does remain open for those wishing to take a walk; however, the City of Carmi reminds users to follow social distancing guidelines.
The City of Carmi apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the cooperation of the public.
