We are t-minus 16 days from Week 1 of the 2022 Carmi-White County Football season. Kurt Simon and the Bulldogs will travel to McLeansboro to take on the Hamilton County Foxes on August 26th. Simon is entering his 26th season at the helm for CWCHS, and this year is no different – the expectations are high. The Bulldogs went 6-4 in 2021 which included a trip to the IHSA Playoffs for the first time in 4 years. Numerous starters from last year’s team are back, and Simon says they have already made a world’s difference in just 2 days of practice. 46 players have snapped up the helmets in the first two days of practice for the Bulldogs, the highest number of players freshman-senior in a couple years.
