Wiggins Sentenced to 4 Years for Meth

A Benton man will spend the next 4 years in prison following a Hamilton County sentencing Wednesday.  41 year old Scott Wiggins was arrested in February of this year after fleeing law enforcement in Franklin County.  The plea deal and conviction is tied to an Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine charge, a Class 3 Felony.  After Deputy Rebstock of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Wiggins, the meth was found in a backpack in the trunk of the car during inventory.  Wiggins is currently behind bars at the White County Jail.  Charges of Aggravated Fleeing and Improper Use of a Vehicle (the transport of meth) were dismissed as per the agreement.
