White County Soil and Water Conservation District’s Landowner Appreciation lunch and Director Election will be held at the fairgrounds today, February 25.
Eligible attendees may vote between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:30 pm. McPeak Fish Market will provide free carryout fish dinners between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm.
Raffle tickets will be available for a handmade John Deere quilt generously provided to the SWCD by Linda Johnson and George Johnson-Roland Meadows Conservation Land Trust.
The SWCD would like to congratulate Phil and Dorothy Winter for being selected as the Conservation Farmer of 2020 and county school poster contest winners that would have been recognized at the District’s traditional Annual Meeting.
Those attending are requested to enter from Fairgrounds Drive to approach the Floral Hall and remain in their vehicles. CDC and public health guidelines will be followed.
