The White County Sheriff’s Department responded to an early Sunday morning call to White County 911 Dispatch in reference to someone suffering a burn injury.
65 year old Peggy L. Kell of Springerton stated her grandson, 28 year old Cody M. Kell was somehow exposed to a fire that was burning outside her residence. His nylon jogging pants began to burn and stick to his body. Peggy told officers she was able to get Cody into a cold water bath to try to stop the burning.
White County 911 Dispatch requested Wayne County Ambulance Service to the location as they were the closer service.
An incident report was placed on file with the White County Sheriff’s Department.
