An Enfield woman is due in court June 13th following her arrest and subsequent release last week at the hands of White County Sheriff’s Deputies. According to the report, an officer saw 47 year old Veronica Fry driving an older model tan truck for which he says he knew the vehicle registration was expired. Additionally, the officer says he knew Fry had a suspended license. The traffic stop occurred on Wednesday, May 10th just after 10pm in Enfield. The vehicle was towed and Fry is being charged with Driving on a Suspended License, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration. Fry would bond out with $250 plus booking fee in cash about 3 hours after her arrest. Fry will be due in White County Court before Judge Webb at 9am on June 13th.
White County Sheriffs Deputies also fielded a call from Crossville resident Emily Nelson last week. It was Thursday morning when Nelson called Sergeant Craig Poole to file a theft report. Nelson says she believes her wallet was stolen out of her vehicle in front of her Rudolph Street residence. She says she thinks it was taken between 2pm on Wednesday, May 10th and before 7:30am the following morning when she discovered it gone.
