White County Fair Coming Up
The White County Fair, which has been on-going each year since 1878 will return to the Carmi fairgrounds this August.
The 2021 Fair will be held August 9th – 14th and will feature carnival rides, food vendors and traditional grandstand events.
The fairboard is currently working on events including the Queen contest, harness horse racing, and two demolition derbys. Additionally, the fair board says they’re trying to lock down Go Kart racing for Wednesday night and expect to add a Tractor Pull on Friday of the Fair.
WRUL/WROY will report on final plans as soon as they are worked out by the fairboard.
The White County Fair in Carmi will follow the Edwards County fair which is coming up July 21 through the 31st with the Saline County Fair to follow the week of July 25 through the 31st.
