Illinois Patriots and IllinoisCarry are hosting an informational townhall meeting for White County Businesses Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:00 p.m., R.I.G. Ministries, 215 Industrial Drive, Carmi. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss available options and answer questions businesses owners may have about reopening their business during the ongoing phases of COVID-19 recovery.
Among the topics to be discussed: Are Gov. Pritzker’s Executive Orders Legal? Can a business be shut down or fined for failing to obey? What can business owners expect from local government officials when it comes to enforcement of the Governor’s Executive Orders? What is the legal process available if a business owner receives a cease and desist order or issued a threat to suspend their license? Can our churches be fined or lose their tax exempt status for failure to obey? Should the people of allow this to happen again? What is the current status of lawsuits filed against Gov. Pritzker?
Speakers will include: State Rep. Darren Bailey, Rep. Bailey’s attorney Thomas Devore , White County State’s Atty Denton Aud, White County Sheriff Doug Maier, State Representative Candidate Adam Niemerg. There will be a short 2nd Amendment update by Mike & Valinda Rowe of IllinoisCarry.
