The White County Board will meet Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the White County Courthouse. With respect to the Circuit Court, they ask that you please wear a mask when entering the building and courtroom. Please maintain a social distance and once seated, you may remove your mask.
The board will consider a resolution appropriating funds for the payment of the County Engineer’s salary, a resolution with the Illinois States Attorney Appellate Prosecutor and White County, the renewal and dues for the Illinois Animal Control Association, the resignation of Don Puckett from the 911 Board ending on November 17, 2020, the resignation of Jakie Carter from the Egyptian Health Department Board of Directors ending on November 30,2020, the appointment of Cassie Pigg to the Egyptian Health Department Board of Directors for a term beginning on December 1, 2020 and ending in 2 years, the reappointment of Cindy Conley to the ILLINOISouth Tourism Board for a two year term, the resignation of Kathy Sands from ILLINOISouth Tourism Board, the appointment of Kelly Northcott to the ILLINOISouth Tourism Board for a two year term to fill the vacancy by Kathy Sands, the approval of the landscape plan, certificate of insurance, updated site plan, and decommissioning plan submitted by Ranger Power for the Big River Solar Project.
There will also be reports from County Officers and an Executive Session to discuss personnel and or litigation.
