White County Board August Agenda
The White County Board returns this month with their regular meeting Tuesday, August 10 at 7 p.m. at the White County Courthouse in Carmi.
Also returning is the requirement that all attendees wear a mask when entering the building and courtroom due to the recent rise in Covid 19 cases. They ask that you maintain a social distance and once seated, you may remove your mask.
One the agenda; is the 2022 Holiday calendar; purchasing new election equipment through Government Business Solutions; hiring a custodian for the annex, probation and state’s attorney’s building; a raise for the White County Ambulance Director position and the ICRMT notice of conditional nonrenewal of the cyber security policy.
Also up for consideration are the reappointments of Bonnie Remley and Iann Mick to the White County Housing Authority Board, both for four year terms to begin on August 30, as well as the appointment of Larry Judge to fill the vacancy left by Tina Wells on the board, expiring August 31, 2023.
There will also be reports from the county officers, comments from visitors and communications to cover.
An executive session will be held to discuss personnel and or litigation.
The next meeting of the White County Board will be one of two required by law day meetings, set for 9 a.m. September 14.
