The next monthly meeting of the White County Board will be Tuesday, July 12th, at 7 PM at the White County Courthouse.
The board will be considering a handful of motions at the meeting. They will consider a resolution for a parcel for Cheap Lands Inc. in the amount of $815 as well as a resolution for the payment to Tri County Roofing for the purchase of replacing the roof on the former Carmi Times building from the ARPA funds. Also on the docket is the approval of the Public Defender salary and the approval of hiring a Sheriff’s Deputy to attend the August police training school. They will also consider the approval of a resolution to declare excess equipment for the White County Ambulance as well as considering estimates on a generator for the Courthouse, a topic that was tabled from last meeting.
There will be reports from the County Clerk, County Treasurer, Circuit Clerk, Ambulance Director, State’s Attorney, Sheriff, Supervisor of Assessments, Highway Department, EMA, TB Officer, Coroner and 911. Also comments from visitors will be heard, as well as communications to the board.
There will be an Executive Session for Personnel and/or Litigation.
The next meeting of the White County Board will be August 9th at 7 PM.
