A Carmi man appeared in White County Court via zoom this morning after being arrested on a White County Warrant Thursday evening. Deputy Michael Brown was on patrol when he spotted 33 year old Joshua White of Burrell Street and knew him to be wanted on a warrant. Brown made contact with White and informed him of the warrant for Unlawful Use of Property, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving While License Revoked. Bond on the warrant was set at $5,000. An officer with the Carmi PD assisting with the call placed White under arrest and transported him to the White County Jail.
Due to White being on probation he is not eligible for a bond hearing. He is scheduled to appear for a Preliminary Hearing on June 12 at 10 AM.
