The rain was to blame for an accident on Route 141 Wednesday morning investigated by the White County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the accident report, Pamela Steele of New Haven was travelling east when her SUV started to drift off the road onto the shoulder, and when she got the vehicle back on the road, she hydroplaned, causing her vehicle to leave the road on the right hand side, overturning once before coming to rest back on its wheels.
Steele was treated at the scene by the White County Ambulance Service. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene by Black’s Towing.
