Norris City officials say the broken water main has been repaired. Furthermore, since the water main repaired was before the treatment plant, Mayor Skip Land says a boil order won’t be necessary. Just yesterday (Sunday), Land asked residents of Norris City, Dale, and Broughton to try to conserve water usage. The 10 foot section of 12 inch water main that broke had some worried users would deplete the estimated 3 days worth of water remaining. Luckily, crews were able to make repairs relatively quickly and consumers are welcome to go back to regular usage.
