Charles Oberlender is behind bars after a White County Sheriff’s officer noticied him walking along a road in Maunie.
The officer knew Oberlender was wanted in White County for two felony warrants, one for Cyber Stalking, and the other for Theft Under $500, along with a misdemeanor for Disorderly Conduct. Oberlender was arrested and taken to the White County Jail and his bond was set at $1,000.
A warrant check lands a Norris City man in jail. Shawn Corbett was arrested at a residence in Norris City for his active White County arrest warrant for a Failure to Appear for a Suspended Illinois Registration. Corbett will be detained until he can see a judge.
