The Wabash County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce they are a recipient of the Frank Orr Charitable Trust for 2015.  City Commissioner Joe Judge wrote the grant for the Sheriff’s Office, which will be applied to offset the cost of AED’s for the Sheriff’s Office.  The grant was for the maximum amount of $2,500.  The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Commissioner Judge for taking time to apply for the grant for the Sheriff’s Office.  This is just another example of the great working relationship between the city and county.  This is the second grant the Sheriff’s Office has received this year, the first being the permanent medicine disposal box housed at the Sheriff’s Office.  That grant was written by Courtney Yost with the University of Illinois Extension office.
