Local health officials in Wabash County are reporting the county’s first COVID-19 death.
A statement released by the Wabash County Health Department on Monday confirmed the death of a 60 year old female from Mt. Carmel.
The health department’s Monday report went on to confirm two new positive COVID-19 cases within the county, which brought the total number of identified coronavirus cases in Wabash County to date to 74.
Currently, three Wabash County residents are hospitalized with COVID-19.
