Wabash Area Development Inc. (WADI) and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity have announced that Braden Jolley of White County has been awarded a Community Services Block Grant Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year to attend Western Illinois University to study Forensic Psychology.
WADI is a not-for-profit Community Action Agency serving Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne and White counties. Seven $1150 scholarships are awarded each year by WADI. Scholarships are awarded based on need and academic standing.
