For the 3rd time in the last 4 seasons, Vienna-Goreville will not play a varsity football schedule.
The announcement came last week as BDC teams scrambled to find another opponent to fill the empty week on their schedule. For Carmi-White County, they will once again have a bye week during week 3.
The Bulldogs looked all around the region and beyond trying to find an opponent with similar enrollment and reasonable distance, but were unsuccessful.
CWC will receive a forfeit win.
