A Grayville woman was taken into custody during a traffic stop Thursday morning. 47 year old Tammy Lynn Vessels of Court Street was stopped on Route 1 between Carmi and Crossville by an officer with Carmi Police Department. Vessels was arrested on a White County Warrant for Retail Theft. She was booked in the White County Jail on $250 bond. Vessels paid bond and was released a few couple of hours later. No court date has been set at this time
