Dec. 4, 5:45 p.m. – Holiday Dinner in the Southeastern Illinois College George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center. This event will include tickets to the SIC Theatre production of A Christmas Story with reservations required by Monday, Nov. 30! Tickets are $25 per person for $130 per table (6). Dec. 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. – Southeastern Illinois College Theatre presents A Christmas Story in the George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center at SIC. Dec. 5, 9-11 a.m. — Southeastern Illinois College will host a Breakfast with Santa in the Southeastern Illinois College Harry L. Crisp Student Center Cafeteria. Cost is $5 per person and will include breakfast (pancakes) and a picture with Santa. This event is running in conjunction with SIC Theatre’s production of A Christmas Story. Tickets to the show can be purchased at a discounted rate of $5 for any showing upon registration. Dec. 6, 1 p.m. – A reception for The Art is Why I Get Up in the Morning Showcase will be held in the Southeastern Illinois College George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center Art Gallery. This showcase will be an exhibition of work by Southern Illinois art teachers and will run through Jan. 8. Art gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. – SIC Board of Trustees meeting in the Rodney J. Brenner Board Room at SIC in Harrisburg.
Dec. 10, 7:00 p.m. — Southeastern Illinois College Falcon Men’s basketball vs. West Kentucky Community and Technical College in SIC’s Deaton Gym.
Dec. 12, 1:00 & 5:00 p.m. — Southeastern Illinois College Falcon Men’s and Women’s basketball vs. Kaskaskia College in SIC’s Deaton Gym. Women’s game at 5:30 p.m. and Men’s game at 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 13, 2 p.m. – Once upon a December concert performed by the Southeastern Illinois College Community Choir will be held in the George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center.
