32 year old Larry R. Tyree of Carmi was issued a Notice to Appear Citation by Carmi Police Wednesday afternoon for No Valid Driver’s License, following a traffic stop for no registration on the vehicle. Around 1:19 PM, Chief Jason Carter was sitting stationary at Bradshaw Park on Stewart Street when he observed a white Mercury car pass by and turn onto Burrell at Stewart Street. Chief Carter recognized the driver to be Larry Tyree. Officer Pollard had attempted to stop Tyree earlier in the week but Tyree evaded before the stop could be conducted. Chief Carter caught up with the vehicle as it turned into Rock Bottom.
