Two Carmians were life flighted following a head on vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Hamilton County. State Police say 22 year old Tyler Morris of Carmi and 41 year old Mary Shirley were both taken by helicopter to a regional hospital after sustaining what authorities called serious injuries. The crash happened just after 6pm on Highway Route 14, just west of County Road 1100 East. Morris was headed west and the preliminary investigation suggests he crossed into the eastbound lane as he was going around the curve there. No word as of yet on either of those individuals condition.
