The Carmi Police Department has arrested two Carmi women on White County warrants. On Thursday an officer with the CPD went to 412 Oak Street and arrested 35 Jennifer R Parkhurst on a warrant for Battery. The amount of the bond on the warrant was set at $250. Parkhurst paid bond and was released.
On Thursday night an officer with the the CPD arrested 25 year old Tammy Y Fischer on a warrant for retail theft and theft. Fischer was also found to be in Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She is being held in the White County Jail without bond. No court date has been set at this time.
