On Wednesday, March 1st, 27 year old Katelyn Campbell of McLeansboro walked into the White County Sheriff’s Department to turn herself in. Deputy Matt Wicker spoke with Campbell and advised her that an Order of Protection would be served against her. Wicker was also aware that there was an active Arrest Warrant in White County for Campbell for Theft. Campbell was taken into and released to the Correctional Officers. She paid $250 bond and a $20 booking fee and was released about an hour later. Campbell appeared in White County Court this morning where the OP was dismissed. She is scheduled to appear in front of Judge T Scott Webb on the Theft charge on March 28th at 9:00 AM.
Deputy Matt Wicker with the White County Sheriff’s Department with the assistance of Conservation Officer Meadows arrested a Norris City man on a White County Warrant Thursday. At around 7 PM the officers went to a residence on Highway 41 looking for Timothy Roberts. Wicker made contact with Roberts and explained that he would be taken into custody on the warrant. Roberts was transported to the White County Jail where he paid $500 bond plus a $20 booking fee and was released a couple of hours later.
