54-year-old Rada Turner of Sycamore Street in Carmi is out on Pre-Trial Release after appearing in court Monday morning on a laundry list of charges she picked up over the weekend. White County Sheriff’s officials arrested Turner just after 7pm Friday after observing Turner on a 3 wheeled motorcycle with no registration plates. After placing Turner in cuffs for driving on a suspended license, authorities turned their attention to her purse and found a glass smoking device with a white crystal residue. The officers on scene also say they found a tied bag with a substance which would later field test positive for meth and fentanyl. In all, Turner is facing 5 charges including Driving on a Suspended License, No Valid Registration, Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Controlled Substance; three of the charges are felonies. Court records show Turner is due before Judge T Scott Webb at 10am on Valentine’s Day.
