Jeff Young of Grayville reported to the White County Sheriff’s Department that a pull behind trailer, a wooden cabinet, and a brown wooden trunk were missing from his property. Jeff told Officers he last saw the trailer parked behind his barn in the grass Friday night around 6:00 PM. Monday morning around 11:15 AM, he notice the trailer missing. The trailer is described as a black, 20 foot long flatbed trailer with a tilt bed, a metal floor, and a tongue with a turnbuckle bolt holder that holds the trailer down.
Later, Monday afternoon, around 1:22 P.M, Young informed Officers he had located the trailer on Vine Street by Second Street in Grayville. Since the location is in the Edwards County Jurisdiction, the Grayville Police Department was contacted and responded to investigate the incident.
Chief David Burrows of the Grayville Police Department recovered the trailer and said an arrest would be made.
