A Mount Carmel woman was arrested over the weekend by Edwards County Sheriff’s Deputies following a traffic stop. Deputy Titzer halted a vehicle operated by 32-year-old Daisha Cardinal. A search of Cardinal’s vehicle turned up meth and a good supply of it according to authorities. Cardinal faces charges of possession of meth and possession with intent to deliver meth. Cardinal was transported to the White County Jail where she picked up an extra charge of bringing or possessing meth into a penal institution. Cardinal was booked into the White County Jail. Grayville police assisted Edwards County Sheriff’s Officials during the stop and arrest.
