Friday appears to have been “turn yourself in day” at the Carmi Police Department. Between Battery, Theft and Drug Possession, Officers were kept busy!
At around 8:30 a.m., 31 year old Jeremiah Burnett of 807 W Main Street in Crossville turned himself in on two outstanding White County Warrants. Burnett was placed under arrest and booked on the outstanding warrants. Burnett had a warrant for Failure to Appear, Battery and Criminal Trespass. Burnett was supposed to be on probation for 4 years, which he broke with the Battery and Trespass charges. Bond was set at $750. Burnett paid bond and was released. A court date has been set for April 26th at 9:00 a.m.
A few hours later, a 21 year old Norris City man turned himself in on outstanding warrant. Collin J Ingram walked into the Police Department in reference to his outstanding warrant. Ingram had a warrant out for his arrest for Battery. Ingram was placed under arrest and booked into the White County Jail. Bond was set at $250. Ingram paid bond and was released. A court date has been set for April 26th at 9:00 a.m.
And at about 3 p.m. on Friday, 29 year old Brett D Brown turned himself on at White County warrant for Theft. Brown was arrested and booked in the White County Jail. Bond was set at $500. Brown paid bond and was released. A court date has been set for April 25th at 8:30 a.m.
