Third arrest of the day was for 44-year-old Carmi native, Michael Barkley. Barkley was charged for Driving While License Suspended, Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Barkley was given a Notice to Appear citation.
On Friday, 26-year-old Benjamin Spurlin of Harrisburg was arrested when Carmi Police conducted a traffic stop. Spurlin was charged with Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and was released on a Notice to Appear citation.
An Enfield woman is behind bars following an arrest Sunday. 52-year-old Tamara Daily was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Lloyd Webb. Webb was originally pulled over and given a citation for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration when Carmi Police noticed drugs on Daily. Daily was taken to the White County Jail on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Use of Property.
