Three are dead following a head on Truck Tractor Semi Trailer accident near County Line Road of Illinois 142 in Hamilton County Tuesday. According to Illinois State Police, a southbound passenger vehicle attempted to pass a vehicle and lost control going off the roadway into a ditch before overcorrecting and coming back onto the roadway. It then crossed the centerline and struck a semi head on. All three occupants of the southbound passenger vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was treated on scene for a small cut to his head. No names have been released.
