49 year old Michael W. French of Carmi, along with 47 year old Crystal D. Morrill of Enfield, and 45 year old Michelle K. Willis of Carmi, were arrested Friday night after Carmi Police served a search warrant at French’s residence, 413 Rice Street. As a result, numerous illegal drug items were located and seized. French was charged with Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and Unlawful Use of a Firearm by a Felon. Both Morrill and Willis were charged with Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All were taken to the White County Jail, where they are currently being held. Carmi Police were assisted by the White County Sheriff’s Department and Crossville Police Department.
