A Texas man is released after Carmi Police arrested him Sunday afternoon. It was just after 4pm Sunday when officers pulled over 24-year-old Brandon Rich-Avalos of Edinburg, Texas at 5th and Stewart in Carmi. He was arrested for unlawful possession of an Open Title, a felony charge. Avalos also picked up multiple citations according to the report including one for unlawful display of a license plate on a vehicle. He was booked and let go with a notice to appear at around a quarter till 6pm.
