Following the regular monthly meeting of the Carmi White County School Board the board met in closed session and approved four new hires. Christina Powell was employed as a Special Education Individual Aide at Brownsville Attendance Center for 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the reassignment of Cameron Mitchell, Kassidy Knight was employed as a Special Education Individual Aide at Jefferson Attendance Center for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Tanya Littleton and Maryann Stocke was employed as the Interim Principal at Lincoln School to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Dr Amy Dixon. In sports, the board approved the employment of Josh Girten as the 5th Grade Girls Basketball Coach for the 22-23 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Kelsey Slay.
