A Carmi man was placed under arrest just before 9pm Wednesday night. 30 year old Glenn Stauffenberg was picked up by Carmi Police after a pedestrian stop related to a suspicious person call according to the report. The stop happened at 205 Industrial Avenue. Stauffenberg was wanted out of Clay County on a Failure to Appear charge related to Contempt. No online record is accessible of the original charge.
