
20-year old Blayk E. Spade of Albion, Illinois, was sentenced Tuesday, June 9, 2020 to a total of 3-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a term of 1-year of Mandatory Supervised Release (formerly known as “parole”) in Edwards County Case No. 2020-CF-7. Blayk Spade pled guilty to the offense of Unlawful Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St Ledger prosecuted the case on behalf of the People of the State of Illinois and public defender, Brian Shinkle, represented the defendant, Blayk Spade. The case was investigated by the Albion Police Department.
