The SIJHSAA (Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association) Board of Control met yesterday via Zoom to discuss winter sports, mainly junior high girls and boys basketball. It unanimously voted to postpone activities until IDPH Return to Play Guidelines are put in place, citing liability concerns. The board will monitor the ongoing basketball situation and will review the issues again at a meeting on November 19th.
