Southeastern Illinois College chemistry instructor Jessi Wright has been granted tenure. Wright, who lives in Marion, is originally from Robinson, Illinois, and has been a full-time instructor for SIC since 2018. According to Math, Science and Technology Chair Jason Fitzgerald, Wright brings a positive attitude and has great rapport with students and colleagues. Wright accepts her certificate of tenure from SIC President Dr. Jonah Rice.
Sessaly Davis, a nursing instructor from Galatia, is completing her third year of full-time instruction and has been granted tenure by Southeastern Illinois College. Director of Nursing Amy Murphy maintains that student success is evident under Davis’ instruction, and her rapport and reputation among students is exceptional. Davis accepts her certificate of tenure from SIC President Dr. Jonah Rice.
