A Crossville man is being held in the White County Jail after violating an order of protection Tuesday. At around 5:20 PM Deputy Simmons with the White County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to 207 W Rudolph Street in Crossville in reference to the caller 37 year old Kassandra Sheckles wanting to file a complaint on 19 year old Christopher Sheckles. The call made by Kassandra is the third one in two days in regards to Christopher breaking the protection order. Simmons who was assisted by Deputy Matt wicker arrived at the residence and spoke with Kassandra who said her son Christopher had shown up at an JR’s home and was refusing to leave. JR is a protected party of the Order of Protection. When asked if she wanted to sign a complaint she stated that she did.
Officers then went to JR’s residence on Rudolph Street and was greeted by Barbara Stallman who confirmed that Christopher had been at the residence but had left. JR was not home at the time but Stallman confirmed that he did live there.
The Deputies then went to Christopher’s home and spoke with him about the complaint. He admitted that he had been at JR’s residence earlier in the day. After talking with Dispatch to confirm the Protection Order, Christopher was placed under arrest and transported to the White County Jail. Christopher Sheckles is being charged with 1 count of Violation of an Order of Protection.
