A 6th Street Carmi man is free on bond following his arrest Thursday night by Carmi Police. 27 year old Jason Sigmund was spotted by officers after 11pm inside a vehicle. Sigmund was wanted on a felony failure to appear warrant out of Edwards County in addition to a misdemeanor warrant here in White County. That White County warrant dates back to late 2015. The Edwards County warrant is a failure to appear related to an Aggravated DUI conviction in 2021. After processing, Sigmund was able to secure his release with $770.
