Several Locals Win Big at State S3DA Championships Saturday

Several local and area archery shooters are Illinois S3DA Champs after the weekend state shoot in Springfield.  Shooter of the Year winners include Amelia White of Hamilton County Fox Archery in the Junior Eagle Pins female division.  Adler Hubbs of Gallatin County took top honors in the boys division.  Caroline Hunt of Gallatin County took top honors in the female open Junior Eagle division.  Sydney Williams of Edwards County Archery is the states top Eagle pins shooter.  Avery Stacey of Gallatin County won the open Eagle female division.  Autumn Hubbs of Gallatin County won the female Youth Pins division.  Abe Sutton of NCOE won the Male Pins Youth division.  Parker Biggs of Edwards County and Trever Millenbine of Hamilton County stood atop the podium for the female and male open youth divisions, respectively.  Alyson Williams of Edwards County and Andrew Hubbs were named top female and male Young Adult Open shooters.

The Hardin County Archery Team took third place honors finishing behind squads from Flint River and Rigney’s School of Archery in the Eagle Division.  Edwards County finished second in the Young Adult division.
