A call to 911 in reference to a domestic dispute has landed a Wilmington IL man in the White County Jail. On Friday July 28th Norris City Chief Dustin Dale was dispatched to a residence on Locust Street where he spoke with Samantha Batteese who claimed to have been physically assaulted by Brandon Scott Schreiber. Batteese told Chief Dale that Schreiber had pushed her into a bicycle that was next to a wall. Dale observed visible marks on her shin and forearm. Batteese stated to Dale that she wanted to sign a complaint for Domestic Battery. Chief Dale then spoke with Schreiber who stated that he had pushed Batteese. Schrieber was taken into custody and transported to the White County by Deputy Malone who arrived to assist with the call.
He is being charged with Domestic Battery and Disorderly Conduct and is scheduled to appear in White County Court on August 21st at 9:30 a.m.
