49 year old Alex Schexnayder of Carmi was taken into custody early this morning following a traffic stop on 12th street. At around 4:45 a.m. Shcexnayder was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Cannabis after an officer with the Carmi Police Department found two marijuana roaches in the vehicle. Bond for Schexnayder has been set at $250.
