The first coronavirus death in Richland County was reported by local health officials on Wednesday.
The Richland County TB & Health Office reported the county’s first coronavirus death, saying it was a female resident in her 80s. No further details about the woman who passed away were released due to privacy issues.
To date, 48 total positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Richland County residents.
