Local Relay For Life teams and community members gathered at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Hamilton and Wayne County event on June 4th at the Hamilton County Courthouse Lawn to Celebrate, Remember, and Fight Back against cancer. They raised over $42,000 to support the American Cancer Society’s mission of saving lives from cancer, surpassing their fundraising goal of $35,000. The 2022 Relay For Life of Hamilton and Wayne County Kathy Smith Volunteer of the Year Award was also presented during the night, Janice Crow was the recipient of the award for her dedication to Relay For Life and the mission of the American Cancer Society.
