Rains Lands Back in Jail on Repeat Charges

35 year old Yolanda Rains of Enfield is out on bond following her arrest by Carmi Police Wednesday evening.  It was just after 10pm when an officer pulled Rains over at the intersection of Main and Industrial.  She was discovered to be driving on an revoked license and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.  Rains was subsequently arrested and taken to the White County Jail.  She would bond out to $250 plus booking fee in the early morning hours of Thursday.  Just a month ago, Rains was found guilty of driving on a revoked license as well as unlawful use of property for having meth in that vehicle.  A possession charge, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operation of a motor vehicle with suspended registration charges were dismissed as per that plea deal.  Rains was out on an active probation term of 30 months.  Online court records don’t yet indicate her next date due in front of a judge.
