The CWC Girls Track team ran at the DuQuoin Sectional yesterday afternoon, and 5 Lady Bulldogs will be heading to state next week.
Ashlyn Rager qualified for state in Discus after finishing in 2nd Place with a throw of 99’4”.
The 4×8 Relay team consisting of Callie Accord, Gabbie Conover, Ally Pollard and Makyla Seibers also qualified for state finishing in 2nd Place with a time of 11:50.95.
Those Ladies will travel to Charleston for preliminaries beginning on Thursday.
Other top 10 finishers at Thursday’s sectional meet include:
Ally Pollard who finished 8th in the 1 Mile Race.
Andi Garner, Ellie King, Jalyza Duckworth and Alyson Lamont finished in 8th Place in the 4×1 Relay & 6th Place in the 4×2.
In the 4×4 Relay, Andi Garner, Ellie King, Alyson Lamont, and Makyla Seibers finished in 3rd Place.
Torrie Rider finished in 3rd Place in Shot Put, Navea Hampton finished in 7th.
Audrey Taylor finished in 6th Place in Discus.
Caroline Simmons finished in 5th Place in the Triple Jump, Madison Smiddie finished in 8th Place.
