Planned Power Outages
The City of Carmi will have two planned power outages to tighten connections identified as
potential issues during a recent thermal inspection. The planned outages will be from 3-4am on July 28
and July 29.
July 28, 3-4am, the following areas will be affected: Residential neighborhoods in Edgewood,
Marshall Place and Sunnybrook Subdivisions and other residential areas in west, southwest and
northwest Carmi, Fairgrounds Road, April Avenue, Burrell Street, West Stewart Street, West Sycamore
Street and west Highway 14.
July 29, 3-4am, the following areas will be affected: South Central and Southeast Carmi
residential areas including Montgomery Circles, College Avenue, Bohleber Drive, South Plum Street,
Paint Creek Lane, Iris Lane, South Church Street, East Robinson Street, Randolph Village and
neighborhoods in the vicinity of Eckerle Park.
