A Carmi man is free on bond after he was arrested during a traffic stop Saturday. At around 8 PM an officer with the Carmi Police Department stopped 23 year old Donald Phillips of Maple Street and took him into custody for Driving While License Suspended. He was also cited for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Phillips paid $250 bond plus a $20 booking fee and was released.
