Pets at Risk Fills 2025 Calendar with Contest Winners

Your votes amounted to more than $4,180 and brings the 3-year total for the Pets @ Risk Calendar Contest to nearly $12,000.  The non-profit tallied up checks, cash, and coins Tuesday and determined the top 12 vote getters.  Coming in with more than $1,000 alone and topping the votes is Honey submitted by Melissa Brand-Welch.   The other top 11 vote getters who will appear in the 2025 calendar are:

The remaining 38 pets will be featured on the calendar cover.  Those calendars will be available for purchase at a cost of $10 each once they’re available later this year.

Pets @ Risk is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to helping animals throughout White County.  The organization helps find animals that are in the pound good homes, assists those in need with spay/neuters, emergency vet services, pet food, and advocating in general for responsible pet ownership.  The group meets on the first Monday of each month at 6pm at the downtown Carmi studios of WROY/WRUL.  Anyone with a heart for pets is welcome to attend or join the group.
